Utopia Village Sandy Channel Underwater Reef Cam powered by EXPLORE.org

This underwater camera is situated 320 feet from the shore at a depth of 20 feet in a sandy channel that leads to a dramatic reef wall dropping 120 feet to the ocean floor. Look out for exciting marine life here, including Eagle Rays, Stingrays, Moray Eels, Turtles, Sharks, and various species of Snappers and Groupers.

Utopia Village is located on the southern shore of Utila, the smallest of the Bay Islands off the northern coast of Honduras in the western Caribbean. Nestled on a white sand and coral beach, it is surrounded by lush jungle, turquoise waters, and the stunning Meso-American reef right at its doorstep. Once the top-rated dive resort on Utila before the Covid-19 pandemic, Utopia Village has since become a permanent residence for our staff and their families and serves as a hub for local marine research and conservation efforts.
