The scuba crew was exceptional. Captain Austin and Carlos were super knowledgeable and always made you feel safe. The dive masters Mary and Calypso would brief us on all the animals we may see by showing us in their book. While in the water they were slow and constantly checking on us. All of them brought a positive energy and made us really excited about the dives. The manta dive is mind blowing!!! This has been on my bucket list for so long and it did not disappoint. The mantas get super close to you and I can’t explain how majestic these creatures are

Two Tank Dusk Reef and Manta Night Dive

Experience one of our favorite charters, offering the best of both worlds! Enjoy a daytime dive to explore Kona's stunning reef environment, followed by the renowned Manta Ray Night Dive with some of the ocean's most majestic creatures.

If you can only join one dive charter during your trip, this is the perfect choice. It offers great value, diverse experiences, and is one of the most consistent and popular wildlife viewing activities globally. And yes, you get to witness Kona's legendary sunset during the surface interval!

Rates & Times

  • $215 for certified divers, $195 for snorkelers.

  • The duration of the experience is 5+ hours.

  • Guest check-in varies throughout the year, between 3:00 pm in the winter and 4:00 pm in the summer.

Requirements

  • Proof of certification (for divers).

  • Swimming ability (for those entering the water).

  • Proficiency in English (for safety communication).

  • Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Minimum age requirement: 10 years old (Younger kids? Consider a Private Charter!)

  • If you have a 10 or 11-year-old diver in your group, reserving a private guide is necessary for the best possible experience.
