Prerequisites: To join our charters, guests must hold an Open Water Diver certification and be able to communicate effectively in English with our crew. Junior Divers aged 10-11 or those with a "SCUBA Diver" certification are required to hire a private Divemaster due to specific depth restrictions. Divers who haven't been diving in the past two years may need to participate in a refresher course before joining us.

Wear exposure protective clothing and use only non-aerosol reef-safe sunscreen. If you're unable to find reef-safe sunscreen locally, we have a variety of options available for purchase at our shop. Guests prone to motion sickness are advised to take anti-emetic medication like Bonine or Dramamine before boarding the boat.

While Manta Ray sightings are incredibly consistent, with a success rate exceeding 90%, they remain wild animals and sightings cannot be guaranteed every night. Instead of false promises, we offer standby spots on future charters if you happen to miss out on a sighting.
For the rare occasions when guests don't encounter mantas on our Manta Ray night dive or snorkel charters, we don't offer refunds. However, we do extend the opportunity to join us on another charter within a year, ensuring you'll have another chance to witness these majestic creatures. Just give us a call within 48 hours of your "unlucky" experience, and we'll make sure you're taken care of on your next visit to Kona.
